Trip to the heart doctor? You have a heart that's two sizes too big or too small? |
|
|
|
I don't know what size it is, but if the rumors are true, it still resides in Denver |

Jeff Quirin: Blues, Stewart Agree to One Year Contract
The St. Louis Blues and winger Chris Stewart have agreed on a one year contract for the 2012-13 season. - Jeff Quirin
I think this makes little difference. If Army gets a deal for Stewie he is gone, if he doesnt he is perfectly happy paying Stewie 3 Million and hope for a come back year.
I expect Stewie to get traded. Dont know where but I also know Army will not trade him for nothing.
Stewie in a trade for a left side defenseman makes sense but is there one out there worth Stewie. Not sure about that. |

I like this signing for St. Louis, Stewart when on his game is a physical forward who can put the puck in the net. He struggled last year, but I think the youth on the blues forward corps suites Stewart well. I think he'll find his form again next year and you'll see the Stewart that made him popular in Colorado. I would love for him to come to Boston and really solidify our top 9. |

ill be hoping he is the odd man out in stlouis next yr,then burke can trade whatever it takes to get this kid.stewart needs a change of scenery and will flourish.personally i would trade schenn straight up for him but id get hanged by leafs nation, kadri and a 2nd or 3rd would be fine too..stlouis has a great core of players and losing stewart wont be a big problem with tarasenko coming. |

Definitely would be a good fit. Not sure we have the pieces to make it work if they'd want roster players back. Maybe McQuaid+? Hate to give up Quaider though. |

I think Stewart would be great on the 3rd line alongside Kelly and Pevs, he would bring the size and scoring touch to make that line a threat. I think to get Stewart they would have to part with one of Knight, Spooner, or Koko which would be a tough pill to swallow.

stewart in boston with the core they have would be crazy with stewy and lucic playing together, just nasty... |

Maybe Caron? Seems like a Hitchcock type of guy ... although I'm not sure what the difference between a Hitchcock type and Julien type would be |

I think if the B's got Stewart and Horton could stay healthy you would have a top 9 of Lucic/Krejci/Horton, Seguin/Bergy/Marchand, and Peverly/Kelly/Stewart which would be a tough task for any opposing defense. Stewart would give the Bruins an extra 25 goals to add to their already potent offense. It sounds like PC is okay with the roster going forward and wont be actively pursing trades or big name free agents. |

The only thing that the Blues would trade for would be a left side stay at home d'man who can play with Pietrangelo 20+ minutes a night. Who on the B's can fill that role? |

That sounds like a good deal to me, although Schenn's right handed. Was he playing PP, PK, & top four minutes the past year? |

I doubt most Blues fans know who he is. I wouldn't mind having him in St. Louis, but not at the cost of Stewart.
Think twice after Stempniak or Steen and Colaiacovo? |

Depends on the time of day, but it doesn't always want to work correctly. |
